This role is ideal for someone with a Light or Medium Rigid license and a positive, proactive attitude, who's excited to combine safe transport with hands-on contribution to our growing learning village.

The Role Includes:
  • Driving learners safely to and from our GVL campus in the Macedon Ranges
  • Ensuring our vehicles are clean, fuelled, and road-safe
  • Building relationships with learners and their families

  • Using your extra skills to contribute to village life — e.g.:

  • Groundskeeping or building maintenance

  • Gardening, permaculture, or landscaping
  • Woodwork, metalwork, pottery, or creative trades
  • Kitchen or food prep for community events
  • Admin, organising, or behind-the-scenes support
  • Mentoring young people with practical life skills

Essentials
  • Light Rigid (LR) or Medium Rigid (MR) licence
  • Working With Children Check (WWCC)
  • Ability to work mornings and/or afternoons with flexibility
  • Friendly, calm, reliable, and community-minded
  • Comfortable working around young people aged 4–18
  • Open to using your skills beyond the wheel
