Mildura Base Public Hospital is offering a unique opportunity to join our dynamic team as a Staff Specialist Surgeon and Clinical Director.

About the role:

Reporting to the DMS-CCS, the Clinical Director (Surgery) is a role with leadership and governance responsibilities, aligning safe and high-quality clinical service delivery with MBPH strategic direction and values.

The successful applicant will meet the following criteria:

• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Agency (AHPRA) or ability to gain registration
• Fellowship of a relevant Australian Specialist medical College, or ability to gain Fellowship
• Evidence of ongoing professional development and participation in quality assurance activities
• Demonstrated experience in an equivalent clinical leadership or research governance role

This position is remunerated in line with the Medical Specialists (Victorian Public Health Sector) (AMA Victoria/ASMOF) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement.
