FIFO 2:1 Full Time - BUS DRIVER MAINTENANCE UTILITY.

WAGE: $90,560 per year plus 12% super

MUST HAVE:

A LR BUS LICENCE /MR Licence (Manual)/HR Licence(Manual).

Hold a PTD (Passenger Transport Driver) authorisation.

About You

You will be a motivated and professional hospitality-minded specialist that contributes to improve the quality of life for village residents living and working away from home. With a 'can-do' attitude and the ability to be flexible on site you thrive on responsibility and are accountable for your results – taking full personal ownership of the role. 

The Core Accountabilities of the Position are:

  • Picking people up from the airport, driving them to the camp village and then to the mint site.
  • Each day you will be picking up and driving people to and from the mine site on a day bases.
  • Ensure that the highest achievable quality of work is maintained across all Catering services
  • Providing customer service in the wet mess, coffee shop and retail shop
  • General housekeeping on mine site and cleaning of rooms, buildings, equipment and common/public areas.
  • Any other duties as and when required, provided the employee has the required training/certification/licensing to carry out these duties in a safe manner. This also includes assisting other departments within the Village Operations to achieve the required outcome if and when required.

To be successful, you will have:

Essential

  • Australian Citizenship, or full Australian working rights
  • A valid LR Australian Driver's License
  • National Police Clearance (dated within 3 months of applying)
  • Forklift Licence
  • RSA Certificate
  • SITXFSA005 Use hygienic practices for food safety Certificate
  • White Card
  • Able to pass a medical and drug screen
  • Have a positive attitude and able to complete manual handling tasks with a keen safety awareness.

Desired

  • A valid First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011- Provide First Aid)-issued within last 3 years
  • Demonstrated experience in a FIFO village environment
