Your new role

We have an opportunity for an experienced Drill and Blast Engineer to play an integral role in an exciting growing coal mine site. 

  • Strategic planning, optimisation and monitoring of Drill and Blast activities
  • Build positive working relationships, coordinating with operations teams to develop plans, schedules and designs
  • Provide and deliver plans to operational personnel and monitoring progress against plan.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Bachelor of Engineering in Mining or Civil
  • Experience in Coal Mining in a Mine Engineer role
  • Strong working knowledge Vulcan, Deswik, Blastlogic or equivalent software packages
  • Current Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain)
  • A current Queensland driver licence.
