Energy Analyst | Climate Tech & Renewables

We're a growing climate-tech company using data and AI to optimise renewable energy and battery storage projects across global electricity markets. Our work helps renewable owners make smarter, more profitable decisions - driving the shift to a cleaner, more efficient grid.

We're now looking for an
Energy Analyst
to join our team in Australia. You'll work across technical and commercial challenges, turning complex energy data into insights that shape real-world outcomes.

What You'll Do

  • Analyse electricity market data (AEMO or similar) to uncover trends and opportunities
  • Support trading and commercial decisions with clear, data-driven insights
  • Collaborate with engineers on forecasting and optimisation models
  • Designing and running experiments to test new ideas and inform business decisions.
  • Build dashboards and tools that keep the team informed and agile

What You'll Bring

  • Strong knowledge of electricity markets and data analysis
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL
  • Experience analysing large datasets and turning them into actionable insights.
  • Clear communication and attention to detail
  • Curiosity, independence, and a passion for problem-solving
  • Exposure to Git, Jira, or Docker and postgraduate qualification in a quantitative or energy-related field are highly desirable.
