Head of Marketing / Marketing Director

In a nutshell

This is a hands-on leadership role for a senior marketing operator who knows how to turn opportunity into repeatable growth. You'll build and own Removify's marketing function end to end, defining focus, setting strategy, and executing what matters as we scale across Australia, the US, and beyond.

We're the market leader in our category, with strong revenue and inbound demand achieved with minimal formal marketing. Now it's time to build a deliberate, scalable marketing engine and you'll have the autonomy, trust, and budget to do it properly.

Removify is a high-growth B2B tech company helping businesses remove harmful, unwanted, and damaging online content at scale using proprietary systems and deep operational expertise.

Although headquartered in Australia, we are already a global business. The majority of our customers are based in the United States, with additional customers across Canada, the UK, and Europe. We also have an established European sales presence and clear ambitions to build a US-based sales function.

What you'll be owning

You'll take full ownership of the marketing function from strategy through to execution and with a clear mandate to drive growth.

Growth & Go-To-Market Strategy

  • Define ICPs, positioning, and messaging across enterprise, mid-market, and SMB
  • Build and execute a deliberate enterprise and mid-market marketing motion aligned with Sales
  • Create offers and narratives that Sales actually uses

Demand Generation & Revenue Impact

  • Drive recurring revenue growth through marketing-led initiatives
  • Own the strategy and outcomes for inbound demand and pipeline generation
  • Ensure marketing is a true growth lever, not just a support function

SMB Inbound & Self-Serve

  • Build scalable, self-serve acquisition and onboarding paths
  • Enable smaller customers to sign up, convert, and onboard without sales involvement

Execution & Scale

  • Be hands-on early; executing, testing, learning
  • Use data, judgement, and iteration (not guesswork)
  • Build the marketing function from scratch, then scale it with the right hires, tools, and partners

You'll work closely with the CEO and leadership team and have real influence over revenue, growth, and strategic direction.

What we're looking for

You're a senior B2B marketing leader who has built and scaled marketing in a tech or SaaS environment. You're comfortable owning outcomes, making prioritisation calls, and balancing speed with focus.

You enjoy building from the ground up and you're just as happy rolling up your sleeves as you are setting direction.

Must-haves

  • Strong background in B2B SaaS or tech marketing
  • Proven ability to build a marketing function from scratch
  • Experience operating in a scale-up environment
  • Demonstrated success driving growth and revenue through marketing
  • Comfort owning strategy and execution
  • Strong commercial judgement and data-led decision making

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with enterprise or mid-market GTM motions
  • Experience with product marketing or self-serve growth models
  • Exposure to US or other global markets
