Reporting to the Activities Manager, your role as Vessel Host will see you coordinate and deliver unforgettable guest experiences aboard qualia's luxury vessels. You'll ensure guest safety and comfort, manage premium food and beverage service, assist with snorkelling and island excursions, and maintain the vessel to world-class standards.

- Deliver luxury vessel charters, ensuring guest safety, comfort, and personalised service.
- Operate Hamilton Island vessels and tenders, supporting guest transfers, drop-offs, and private beach activities.
- Manage food and beverage service during charters, including provisioning, service, and presentation.
- Collaborate with qualia guest services and concierge to create seamless, unforgettable experiences.
- Maintain vessels to immaculate standards, including interior and exterior detailing and light maintenance.
- Lead snorkelling and bushwalking excursions, showcasing the natural beauty of the Whitsundays.
- Support vessel operations through stock control and inventory management.
You're a confident and capable professional with a passion for luxury service and the marine environment. You take pride in delivering memorable guest experiences, thrive in dynamic settings, and enjoy being hands-on both on deck and in hospitality.
To be successful, you'll need- Coxswain Grade 3 certificate (Essential)
- First Aid, CPR and Advanced Resuscitation certifications (Essential)
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate (Essential)
- Open driver's licence (Essential)
- Proven experience in luxury charter vessels and/or premium hospitality environments (Essential)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
- Strong aquatic competency and comfort with snorkelling, water sports, and guest excursions
