Repossession/Field Agent

About the role

As a Repossession, Field Agent and Security Agent at Vestigate Pty Ltd, you will play a crucial role in our field services operations. This casual position is based in Prospect, SA 5082 and involves all aspects of debt recovery work. Your primary focus will be to safely and professionally conduct repossessions and carry out the various field services we offer our client.

The Position

What you'll be doing;

• Executing repossession orders in a lawful, ethical and customer-focused manner
• Conducting field investigations to locate and recover assets, serve legal documents and make general enquiries.
• Providing detailed reports and documentation on all field activities
• Collaborating with the broader team to ensure operational efficiency

What we're looking for

• Travel is an essential part of the job, and you may frequently have to journey to different locations. A current driver's license and a reliable car are mandatory for this role.
• Previous experience in a repossession, field agent or similar security role
• Minimum 6 months experience in Legal support service, Finance, Insurance, Credit Control, and/or Debt Collection industries is required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and the public
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required
• High levels of discretion and professionalism

• Desirable but not essential:

• Certificate III in Mercantile or Financial Services.

• Experience with repossession and secured lending.
• Advanced skip tracing methodologies and analytical skills.

Australian citizenship is required for this position
