As a Business Analyst, you will be assisting with identifying, developing, and deploying end-user solutions in system implementation. By employing design thinking methodologies and collaborating with clients and their teams, you will ensure that business requirements are comprehensively addressed. Additionally, you will provide leadership and advisory services in project management, business process development, implementation support, and end-user training. You will act as a liaison between clients and consultants, particularly during the initial phase of projects.
In this role, your focus will be business analysis. You will work closely with product managers and product owners.

As an AI-ready Business Analyst, you will leverage artificial intelligence to enhance requirements management, business processes and decision-making. You will be expected to stay abreast of AI advancements and integrate them into business solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Additionally, you will ensure the use of AI is safe, ethical, and responsible, adhering to best practices and guidelines.
Skills And Experiences
- Strong understanding of business analysis principles.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Certifications such as IIBA CBAP or PMI-PBA (required).
- Experience working with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
- Familiarity with AI tools and technologies.
- Advanced usage of M365 Copilot (e.g., summarizing notes, drafting content). Prompt tuning for better AI output.
- Knowledge of Responsible AI and prompt engineering.
- Knowledge of application of AI in business processes. Knowledge of AI-enabled requirements workflows.
- Knowledge of AI use cases and use case design.
- Ability to effectively facilitate requirements gathering sessions.
- Understanding of the bridge between experience design and engineering.

What You'll Do
Business Requirement Analysis:
- Define functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring they align with business processes.
- Document business requirements, system settings, and prepare comprehensive system documentation.
- Interface with clients and internal technical teams to ensure a clear understanding of functional requirements.
- Translate business requirements into logical and technical models, linking them to business processes.
- Elicit, document, and validate business requirements from clients and stakeholders.
- Own and manage the requirements process, ensuring approval, communication, traceability, and re-use.
Business Process Management
- Lead client workshops, analyze business process decomposition, and design solutions for application and process gaps.
- Prototype and configure business processes to align with customer constraints.
- Utilize workflow technology to automate business processes, ensuring the system reacts as per defined constraints.
- Test system behavior, including extensive testing of configurations to guarantee adherence to functional requirements.
- Educate and train key-users and end-users on the functionality of the implemented solutions.
Stakeholder Management & Facilitation
- Support key-users during user acceptance testing, addressing issues and ensuring the system meets clients' expectations.
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to determine necessary patches and upgrades for the system.
- Stay updated on technologies, including new releases and updates, to implement the latest advancements in solutions.
Agile Experience
- Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban).
- Active participation in daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Proficiency in backlog management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or Confluence.
- Ability to collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and scrum masters to ensure user stories are well-defined, testable, and aligned with business goals.
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure a shared understanding of project requirements and progress.
- Adapt to changing priorities and requirements in a fast-paced Agile environment.
- Enhance the ways of working for both the client teams and Avanade, as required by the project or Avanade's assigned tasks.
