Medical Receptionist

We are a leading dermatology specialist practice based in Brisbane seeking a new member of our medical reception team with a mature, caring and empathic approach and good people skills.

Must be well presented, reliable and punctual with the ability to work independently and also cooperatively as part of a close-knit team.

Must have good time-management skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced office environment.

FULL TIME POSITION:

Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (Immediate Start)

No weekend/ Public Holiday work.

Your duties will include:

General medical administration tasks including filing with potential for moving up to answering incoming phone calls and assisting with patient enquiries including emails.

Liaising with supervisors, team-members, doctors and nurses as well as other medical services / hospital departments

Completing assigned tasks efficiently

About you:

Competent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

Pleasant, respectful and efficient customer service skills

Good organisational and time management skills

Computer skills are valued

Ability to work productively and cooperatively in a friendly team environment

A willingness to learn new skills and to further develop in the role
