We're looking for a full-time Assistant Baker to join our team at Alexander's Bakery Southside, a well-loved local bakery cafe known for our handmade bureks, flaky pastries, and award-winning coffee.

About the Role

This is a hands-on baking role in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

You'll assist with daily production of pastries, breads, and specialty items, working closely with our head baker and pastry team.

While prior baking experience is required, on-the-job training and skill development will be provided to help you grow within the role.

Hours:

  • Full time (approx. 38 hours per week)
  • Early starts at 4:00am, finishing around 12:00pm — enjoy your afternoons free
  • Weekend availability required (with rotating roster and consistent days off)
