The role:

Our client is looking for us to fill the position of Accounts Payable/Receivable Representative on a temporary basis, with part-time hours for a period of up to 3 months.

Your main duties & responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

  • Payment run - Electronic Funds Transfer
  • Processing of open invoices and credits
  • Code purchase invoices for other departments
  • Create and maintain Vendors in relevant software/program with bank account details
  • Action queries.
  • Reconcile accounts with Statements
  • Upload invoices into programs

(Upon training/skillset)

  • Manage Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable emails
  • Manage Vehicle Fuel monthly account
  • Check and process purchasing card expenses
  • Payment vouchers/Petty cash vouchers

What you will need to succeed includes:

  • Ability to solve problems and work with minimum supervision in a team environment.
  • Formal education in accounting, finance or a related field along with relevant experience in a similar role

  • A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to manage workloads, work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Have a previous experience in a similar role
  • Disciplined with remarkable organisational skills to meet targets and purpose
  • Effective and efficient use of time to ensure a productive workflow.
