About The RoleBased at Maules Creek Mine, we have multiple opportunities to join a large team of fitters and grow in a supportive environment. We have an ultra-class fleet of mining equipment including CAT and Hitachi machinery. This is a residential position working days and nights on the lifestyle roster - 4/4/6 - 4/4/6.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct required repairs & maintenance on a wide range of mobile equipment
  • Demonstrate visible safe working practices & a commitment to safety in the workplace
  • Work with minimal supervision & carry out assigned work orders
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative organisational culture

What You'll Bring

  • Experience in mining or heavy industry maintaining mobile equipment
  • Trade certificate in Mechanical or Heavy Fabrication (including NSW Certificate of Proficiency)
  • Current drivers license
  • Local residence in the Gunnedah area, or willingness to relocate
