About the facility

Our major sites include University Hospital Geelong in Geelong's CBD, the McKellar Centre precinct in North Geelong, Barwon Health North in Norlane, and residential aged care facilities spanning the region. Comprehensive mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through various programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac.

The OA Healthy Weight Management Clinic is a multidisciplinary program providing information, education, and support to increase the capacity for people with living with osteoarthritis of the hip or knee to manage their dietary and physical health and wellbeing.

About the role

The Exercise Physiologist will operate as part of a multidisciplinary team providing their specialist input into the treatment of individuals with Osteoarthritis who will benefit from multidisciplinary assessment, intervention and support. The key components of the role will be to provide evidenced informed exercise physiology assessment and therapies/treatment for consumers accessing the program. This will be delivered individually and as part of a group program.
