About the Role

Working closely with the General Manager, you will be responsible for day-to-day accounting and compliance while assisting with broader financial planning and performance activities. This role offers strong development opportunities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and general ledger
  • Support month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations and reporting
  • Assist with annual budgets and 3-year financial planning processes
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management reports and performance analysis
  • Support scenario modelling, cost optimisation and performance reviews
  • Process accounts payable and receivable, including supplier and customer management
  • Assist with BAS, IAS and other statutory compliance lodgements
  • Support payroll processing and employee expense claims
  • Maintain fixed asset register and assist with intercompany reconciliations
  • Liaise with external accountants and support ad-hoc finance projects

About You

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
  • 2–4 years' experience in an accounting or similar finance role
  • Sound knowledge of Australian tax and GST requirements
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with non-finance stakeholders
  • High attention to detail with strong time management
