Westfill Pty Ltd was established in 2020 by respected industry professionals with decades of experience in technical engineering design and "boots-on-the-ground" operational expertise in underground mining. Today, having developed a reputation for consistently delivering safe, reliable, and professional contract services for national and international underground mining projects, Westfill is a principal underground mining contractor and a full-service provider for mining operations.
What You'll Do:
- Operate mechanised longhole drilling rigs (e.g., Sandvik DL421, DL432i) to drill blast holes as per design specifications.
- Interpret and execute drill plans, ensuring holes are drilled to the correct line, gradient, and profile.
- Conduct thorough pre-start inspections and routine maintenance to ensure equipment is safe and operational.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with Shift Supervisors and cross-functional teams to coordinate drilling activities.
- Maintain accurate records of drilling activities and equipment maintenance.
What You'll Get:

What You'll Need:
- Minimum 2 years previous underground mining experience (essential).
- Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks in tough conditions.
- Valid manual driver's license and ability to operate underground vehicles with relevant RPLs.
- Strong knowledge of underground mining regulations, procedures and dangerous goods card.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and physically demanding conditions.
- Ability to follow strict procedures and safety standards.
- WA-based and available for FIFO.
