The Opportunity

A vacancy currently exists for an experienced and motivated Enrolled Nurse to join our team in Cessnock on a part time basis. In this role, you will work closely with staff, residents, and families to provide individualised care, clinical support, and guidance to the care team.

To be considered for this position, you must demonstrate a genuine interest in Aged Care, uphold a high level of personal integrity, and be committed to delivering respectful, person-centred care. The successful candidate must also be available to work every second weekend and a mix of day and afternoon shifts.

Essential Requirements

  • Current AHPRA Registration
  • Experience in Aged Care/ Dementia specific.
  • Experience in leading and managing staff to provide quality care to residents.
  • Demonstrated competence in the management and application of clinical nursing procedures that meet current best practice in Aged Care.
  • Demonstrated commitment and capacity to implement and support Quality Improvement
  • 2 contactable clinical references from a line manager.
  • Current National Criminal History Check suitable for Aged Care, less than 6 months old.
  • Seasonal Influenza vaccination.
