About the Business

The Shaws Bay Hotel is an enduring East Ballina Icon which has just undergone an exciting modernisation. With a huge footprint directly on the beautiful waters of Shaws Bay, this will be a food and entertainment driven, high capacity and high turnover venue. We have just opened the doors after the long refurbishment and business is booming

About the Role

As we enter our peak season, we are looking at expanding our team to cater for both the influx in trade and the hotel's natural growth in general. Working within the Leadership Team, you will ensure exceptional service standards are met in a streamlined and efficient manner.

You will be an experienced professional in all facets of busy Pub Management, with Bars, Food Service, Gaming, TAB, Entertainment, Security & Compliance, WHS, Team Culture & Training, Product Knowledge and Guest Experience under your belt.

You will be an influential leader with excellent interpersonal skills, and have a genuine love for hospitality. You will conduct regular training sessions, with the goal of keeping your team informed, engaged and striving to be the best.

This is an essential role within the business and we are looking for a truly talented operator.

  • Several years' experience in a similar environment
  • Experience in controlling and directing a very busy Venue
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • The ability to coach and develop your team into future leaders
