About the role
NQ Truck & 4WD Wreckers' is seeking a Dismantler (Wrecking Yard) to join our team in Mareeba, QLD. This is a casual role that involves removing mechanical parts and panels from vehicles.

What you'll be doing
- Remove various vehicle parts and components from trucks and 4wds including engines, gearboxes, diffs, parts and panels
- Prepare parts for collection or freight
- Comply with all health, safety and environmental regulations
- Assist with other general wrecking yard duties as required
What we're looking for
- Diesel Fitter/Mechanic Qualifications highly regarded
- Strong practical skills and the ability to use a variety of hand and power tools
- Good attention to detail and the capacity to work methodically and efficiently
- Willingness to work in an outdoor, physical labour environment
- Good base-level fitness
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices
- A positive, team-oriented attitude and the ability to follow instructions
