Kuluin OSHC is seeking a highly capable and dedicated person with a genuine passion for leadership and mentoring. As Program Coordinator/Educational Leader, you will lead the team with compassion and approachability, fostering positive and productive engagement with staff, families and children. Reporting to our Service Manager, you will work in conjunction with the Administration Coordinator to continue the delivery of an established service recognised with an Exceeding rating over 7 quality areas, with a licenced capacity of 250 children.
What You'll Do
· Lead, Support and Mentor a dedicated team, allowing them to develop and grow within their roles
· Develop & Enhance inclusive behaviour support strategies and multicultural connections
· Embed Excellence in all aspects of the National Quality Framework
· Build Partnerships with school leadership, families, and the wider community
· Motivate and Inspire through development of innovative child-led interest based programs and critical reflection
· Embed Positivity in all interactions and program aspects
· Create a safe space where all staff, children and families feel welcome and respected
What You'll Bring
· A Diploma or Degree in Education, Outside School Hours Care, or other recognised qualification under ACECQA
· Willingness to take on a Nominated Supervisor Role
· Proficient in Child Care Management Software
· Demonstrated experience in a leadership role (min 3+ years) in a large service with extensive experience in OSHC (5+ years) demonstrating positive communication and relationship skills
· Experience mentoring staff to increase their capabilities and confidence
· Experience supporting children with complex needs in conjunction with families and school
· Strong understanding of NQS, MTOP and OSHC compliance
· Sound knowledge of WH&S and risk benefit analysis
· Highly Proficient in the use of Jotform
· Extensive IT skills essential
· Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
· Respect for Aboriginal Culture and a willingness to increase knowledge and continue to embed programs
· A willingness to continue our Vegie Garden project in conjunction with the School tuckshop
· An interest in Playwork Theory, Nature Play programs and Loose Parts concepts
· A current Blue Card, First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma certificates, plus recognised Child Protection Training
