Job Description

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for Digital and Technology roles across the Corporate Group.
  • Deliver a seamless, positive experience for candidates and hiring managers, while championing diversity and innovation throughout the recruitment process
  • 14 month fixed-term contract based at our Head Office in Mascot

As a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will lead internal and external sourcing and recruitment activities across the Digital and Technology portfolios, with a primary focus in the areas of Software Engineering and Data. You will design and deliver targeted sourcing strategies and recruitment marketing campaigns, build robust talent pipelines and ensure a seamless candidate experience that reflects and reinforces our brand values. By developing strong partnerships with Human Resources (HR) colleagues, Business Unit leaders and senior executives, you will play a key role in delivering a best-practice, efficient and cost-effective recruitment service that supports the Qantas Group's strategic goals.

In this role, you will also apply effective recruitment and selection processes, while leveraging our ATS functionality and upholding quality assurance standards for the roles that you're responsible for. You will foster a culture of continuous improvement, driving innovation in sourcing strategies and ensuring every stage of the process delivers exceptional outcomes for both the business and candidates.

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Proven Talent Acquisition expertise, managing end-to-end recruitment for Technology and Digital roles
  • Must have Technology Recruitment experience in an in-house or agency setting, especially in the areas of Software Engineering and Data. Experience in the broader technology disciplines of Project Services, Infrastructure, and Architecture is also highly regarded.
  • Ability to generate market insights to navigate talent challenges and uncover opportunities.
  • Strategic thinking with a drive for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to deliver across multiple recruitment process running concurrently on time and in line with business priorities.
  • Adaptable, positive approach, and comfortable in fast-paced, changing environments.
  • Creative problem-solving and sound judgement in sourcing strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills, partnering effectively with stakeholders at all levers, including senior stakeholders.
  • Skilled in talent pooling, headhunting and building strong networks.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to a great candidate experience.
  • Passion for diversity and inclusive recruitment practices.
  • Leadership experience with a record of guiding teams to success (desirable).
