Apprentice Mechanic (2nd or 3rd Year) – Alexandria, Sydney

JAK Automotive Services is a busy, fast-paced independent workshop located in the heart of Alexandria, Sydney.

We're a small, tight-knit team that works on everything from old classics and daily runabouts to high-end European luxury vehicles. No two days are the same here – and we like it that way.

We're looking for a motivated 2nd or 3rd Year Apprentice Mechanic to join our growing team. If you've got a great attitude, a genuine interest in cars, and you want to sharpen your skills on a wide variety of vehicles, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

  • Carry out servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs under guidance of senior technicians
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with support from the team
  • Work on a wide variety of vehicles – from "daily drivers" to prestige European brands
  • Keep the workshop clean, organised, and safe
  • Assist with workshop tasks as required to ensure smooth workflow
  • Learn and apply best practices in all areas of automotive servicing and repair
  • Offering above award wage for the right fit

Pay: $25.00 – $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 – 40 per week
