About the role

We're now seeking a results driven Business Development Manager with a hunter mindset that is committed driving growth and expanding our customer base across Southern Brisbane to Gold Coast region.

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Achieve budgeted sales targets across all products and channels while staying within trade spend guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with foodservice distributors and key customers to increase product usage and distribution.
  • Create and implement a structured sales and territory plan using the CRM to maximise efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Actively pursue new customers and business opportunities to expand market reach.
  • Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and promotional events to showcase Sunny Queen's premium products and drive engagement.

Essential Criteria

  • Experience within the food industry (FMCG/Foodservice) with a minimum of 3 years in relevant sales positions
  • A successful track record in managing a network of distributors and key accounts

  • A strong focus on understanding and meeting customer needs to drive long-term relationships and business growth.

  • Proven experience and success in selling within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) or foodservice industry.
  • The ability to influence and negotiate effectively in competitive business environments.
  • Strong time management, territory planning, and organisational skills to maximise efficiency and success.
  • A proactive, enthusiastic approach with the drive to achieve business goals and exceed targets.

Desirable Criteria

  • Tertiary qualifications in business or marketing
