This is an exciting opportunity to deliver a diverse range of events that celebrate achievement, foster community connection, and showcase the MGGS experience. From large-scale functions and award nights to performing arts productions and intimate gatherings, no two days will be the same.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the end-to-end delivery of events, including logistics, budgets, and stakeholder communications.
- Manage invitations, RSVPs, ticketing, catering, AV, and venue bookings.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to ensure every detail is covered.
- Oversee event-day operations and ensure a high-quality experience for all attendees.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to promote events across digital and print channels.
- Prepare post-event reports and feedback to drive continuous improvement.

About You:
- Proven experience in planning and delivering successful events of varying scale and style such as sponsored or philanthropic events.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign and Acrobat.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally.
- Proficiency in event planning tools, CRM databases, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work outside standard hours for events.
