Apprentice Engine

Quantum Diesel Engineering Services is located in Forrestfield, Western Australia. We specialize in engine and general machining covering the Mining, Transport, Marine and Power Generation Industries. We are looking for an apprentice engine reconditioner / fitter machinist to join our rapidly expanding business.

Duties Include:

• Measuring, quoting and machining engine components - blocks, crank shafts, conrods etc.
• Assisting tradesman where required
• Cleaning parts
• Fitting of sleeves and bushes
• General machining
• Metal spraying
• Welding
• Crack testing
• Engine block reconditioning
• Crankshaft reconditioning
• Cylinder head reconditioning
• Completing job cards and reports as required

Experience:

• "Can do" attitude a must.
• Previous experience in a similar work environment is desirable.
• Have permanent work rights with no restrictions.

The successful candidate will possess these qualities:

• High attention to detail
• High level communications and interpersonal skills
• High level problem solving skills and the ability to work as part of a dynamic team.
• Valid C Class Driver's License
