Position: English/Drama/Debating Teacher Needed for Primary School Students

Location: Chatswood, Edgecliff

Duke Education is a premier tutoring centre dedicated to providing high-quality education and personalised learning experiences for primary/secondary school students. We are seeking a passionate and committed Primary/Secondary School Teacher to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to student needs.
  • Assess and monitor progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of performance and attendance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Education or related field.
  • Valid teaching certification.
  • Current registration with NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) or eligibility to register
  • Proven experience in teaching students in school settings.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience teaching English, Drama, or debating to primary school students (ages 5-12)
  • Strong understanding of curricula and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of NSW English and Creative Arts syllabuses, particularly drama and debating components
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to fostering inclusive, positive learning.
  • Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) for NSW
  • Eligibility to work in Australia (Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa)
