Qualified Fitter

The position will require the individual to have extensive experience in machinery performance, breakdown repairs, and fabrication.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitoring and reporting of equipment performance.
• Performs computer operations as needed for maintenance department operations, information, and recording including accurate record keeping.
• Carrying out Preventative Maintenance requirements.
• Complete repairs and maintain complex production machinery.
• Learn to operate, setup, and adjust machinery.
• Carry out all general types of welding including, oxy, arc, and tig.
• Complete all tasks within WH&S requirements and regulations.
• Carry out other tasks and roles as required as a team member to meet company objectives and ensure policies are adhered to.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Regular overtime in line with the Preventative Maintenance program and production requirements.
• Availability for work, standard hours, overtime, weekend and on-call.
