About The Role
ACMI is seeking a Platform Reliability Engineer to manage reliability, security, and scalability of the ACMI's ICT infrastructure across on-premise and cloud environments. The role plays a critical part in maintaining high availability of services, implementing robust disaster recovery strategies, and proactively identifying and resolving system issues. This is a new full-time ongoing role reporting to the Head of Systems & Infrastructure.
What You'll Bring To The Role
- Relevant qualifications and practical experience working with: Cisco networking products and protocols, cloud services Azure and AWS supporting networking and compute and Logic Monitor or similar. Strong working knowledge of LANs, SANs, Azure, AWS, VMware, ICT security systems, wireless networks, firewalls, routers, core switches, and server/network monitoring tools.
- Extensive hands-on experience managing ICT infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments, with strong technical expertise in Windows, Linux, and macOS systems.
- Strong knowledge of network and system security practices, including experience with anti-virus, spam prevention, and endpoint protection tools.
- Experience designing and implementing disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
- Highly developed conceptual and analytical skills applicable to successful technical troubleshooting, problem solving across a range of technical/ systems applications/issues and ability to evaluate and implement continual improvements to ICT support systems.
