About the opportunity:

An exciting opportunity is available for a hands-on, technically inclined individual to join a growing marine technology company as a Robot Operator. There are full time and part-time roles working with advanced underwater robotic systems to clean boat hulls and reduce marine pollution. Ideal for those who enjoy working on or near the water and want to be part of a forward-thinking, sustainability-driven team. These will be based out of the new office in Marrickville with opportunities also in the Airlie Beach Queensland site.

Role description:

Operate underwater robots (ROVs) to clean vessel hulls, ensuring safety, system functionality, and high-quality service delivery.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Operating robotic cleaning systems in marine environments
  • Performing basic maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Adhering to safety protocols and procedures
  • Communicating effectively with clients and team members
  • Documenting work and system performance

This role will suit someone with all or some of the following background / experience / qualities:

  • Comfortable working around boats and marinas would be an advantage
  • Hands-on technical or mechanical background
  • Experience with ROVs, drones or remote-operated equipment would be excellent
  • Drivers license, open to travel, open to night shifts
  • Good communicator and reliable team player
  • Interest in marine sustainability and innovation
