It's a place where you'll feel supported, valued, and excited to grow in the AVM space.About UsYour Day on a Page Supporting the Senior Village Manager in creating and maintaining a sense of place, belonging and connectivity in the village Overseeing the day-to-day operational activities and assist in implementing operational plans & projects Assisting the SVM in driving the village financial and budget process Ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to the village Implementing company policies, strategies and plans to maintain residents' satisfaction Deliver health and wellbeing services and programs to residents. Assist with running of village events, social calendar and activities. Contributing to effective resident management to foster strong customer relationships and support delivery of village maintenance Contractor Engagement and associated environmental health and safety tasks Supporting the provision of a safe working environment for all staff, contractors, visitors and residents. Who You Are Demonstrated People Management experience in a similar role within the retirement living, hospitality, and/or hotel management sector, or skills aligned to the role from an alternative sector Demonstrated resilience in dealing with challenging circumstances An ability to balance different priorities and manage day-to-day expectations for the residents and their families Exceptional Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Has the ability to communicate across all levels and ages Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to lead by example Good knowledge of EH&S issues related to workplace Excellent Computer Literacy – including the Microsoft Office Suite Level 2 First Aid Certificate & CPR Certificate - or be willing to obtain A valid driver's license
