Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll work closely with a small but collaborative team to ensure accurate and timely accounting processes:

  • Process critical and timely bank statements, including reconciliations of 14 EFTPOS machines and 14 Pay by Links to customers.
  • Allocate manufacturer weekly/monthly payments to the correct income accounts.
  • Manage accounts receivable: follow up on payments for Parts & Service debtors, Fleet debtors, Rental Debtors, and Wholesale debtors.
  • Assist with month-end reconciliations.
  • Work collaboratively to solve accounting queries where the answer may not be obvious, using a solution-focused mindset.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in basic accounting or accounts receivable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive, enquiring mind with a solution-focused approach.
  • Ability to work independently under pressure and as part of a team.
