Based at our Broadmeadows site, you'll be part of one of three key manufacturing teams: Base Fractionation, Bulk Manufacturing, or Filling. Each team plays a crucial role in turning plasma into life-saving therapies that reach patients around the world.

The roles will involve regular manual handling, prolonged periods of standing, and repetitive physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and performing routine motions throughout the shift. Some roles may involve overtime/weekend work.

Base Fractionation (Facility F)
Facility F plays a vital role in our manufacturing process — it's where it all begins. At this stage, donated human plasma is processed and carefully separated into key protein components that form the foundation of our life-saving therapies.

The team operates in a 24/7 environment. You will be working on a 11-hour rotating shift (Day & Night), with a three-days-on, three-days-off schedule.
Bulk Manufacturing
The Bulk Manufacturing team plays a crucial role in transforming the intermediate products from Facility F into final therapeutic medicines. This involves a multi-step process, including formulation, bulk purification, sterile filtration, and preparation for the final filling stage.

This team operates in a 7-day production environment, with shifts of up to 10 hours during the day and evening (no overnight shifts). Shift patterns may vary depending on the team.
Filling
The Filling team plays a key role in our production process, ensuring that our life-saving therapies are precisely and safely filled. This stage demands a strong focus on aseptic excellence and attention to detail across every aspect of the operation.

Depending on the team, working conditions may vary. Some teams operate in a 24/7 environment with 12-hour rotating shifts (Day and Night), while others follow an 8-hour schedule from Monday to Friday within a 24-hour operational setting.
You might be a great fit for this role if you have:

• A background in manufacturing, especially in regulated industries like pharmaceuticals or food & beverages
• Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working in physically demanding environments
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow documented processes like GMP and SOP standards
• A collaborative mindset, with initiative, problem-solving skills, and clear communication
• Flexibility with working hours and a commitment to safety, compliance, and CSL values
• A tertiary qualification (or recent graduation) in science, engineering, or a related field
