Horticultural Supervisor / Specialist – Mareeba, QLD

Full-time | Lead operations with the world's largest Lemon Myrtle producer

We're looking for an experienced Horticultural Supervisor / Specialist to oversee the day-to-day operations of our lemon myrtle plantation in Mareeba. You'll coordinate crop care, supervise staff, and ensure our organic-certified production standards are met.

What you'll do:

• Supervise and coordinate daily horticultural activities
• Monitor plant health, soil conditions, pests, and diseases
• Manage fertilisation, irrigation, and harvesting schedules
• Train, guide, and supervise seasonal and permanent staff
• Operate and oversee machinery and equipment used in crop production
• Maintain records to meet organic certification and compliance standards
• Take the lead in specialised areas such as fertigation, irrigation, pest control, harvesting, or packing operations

What you'll bring:

• Certificate IV or higher in Horticulture or related field
• 3+ years' horticultural production experience (organic preferred)
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills
• Current chemical user accreditation (if applicable)
