Vertaview Group is looking for a dedicated Practice Specialist – Mental Health & Rights to join our team In this role, you'll provide expert clinical and practice advice, drive high-quality care outcomes, and advocate for the rights of people we support. 

About the Role:
As a Practice Specialist – Mental Health & Rights, you'll lead the development of a mental health practice framework, embed best practice into governance systems, and ensure alignment with quality standards including NDIS, Mental Health, Aged Care and Child Safe frameworks. This is a unique leadership opportunity to apply your clinical expertise beyond day-to-day service delivery and make a meaningful difference at a strategic level.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the development and implementation of mental health, psychological safety, and wellbeing frameworks across the Group
  • Provide expert advice and evidence-based recommendations to improve clinical governance and reduce practice risk
  • Deliver targeted training and education on human rights, mental health advocacy, and best practice standards
  • Develop and review key practice documents, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and sector standards
  • Build strong relationships across internal and external stakeholders to embed a culture of continuous improvement and Practice Excellence

What You'll Bring:
 

  • Clinical experience in mental health, with the ability to apply expertise at both service and organisational levels
  • Proven ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams to support holistic, person-centred care outcomes
  • Experience developing evidence-based procedures, practice manuals, and frameworks aligned with human rights principles
  • Strong analytical skills to collect and interpret data, identify trends, and drive practice improvements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders and influence best practice across teams

What do you need to apply?

  • Post graduate qualifications in relevant clinical mental health field (Clinical Psychologist preferred) and current membership/registration with relevant Professional Body (AHPRA)
  • Current Working with Children's Check(P) – or willing to obtain
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance(P) – or willing to obtain
  • Current Open Drivers Licence
  • Rights to work in Australia
