The Role:

We are seeking a qualified and reliable Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or Auto Electrician to join our team full-time or part-time (hours negotiable) . The successful candidate will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and repair of our heavy vehicles – including road trains, semi-trailers, and various machinery – as well as our light vehicle fleet.

This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and a proactive approach to preventative maintenance and diagnostics. The ideal candidate will take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship, ensuring all vehicles and equipment remain safe, reliable, and roadworthy.

You will be part of a supportive team environment and work a wide variety of vehicles and machinery. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are key to success in this position.

What We're Looking For:

  • Trade-qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic (or final year apprentice)

  • Auto electrical skills desirable.

  • Experience servicing and repairing heavy vehicles, trailers, machinery, and light vehicles

  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to safe work practices

  • HR or higher-class license (desirable or willing to upgrade)
