Location: Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia (with travel across Queensland and NSW as required)

Salary Range: TBC AUD per annum + superannuation, company vehicle allowance, and performance-based incentives

About the Role

Corsa is seeking a proven, hands-on Roofing Supervisor to lead high-performing roofing crews on residential and commercial projects. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a passion for quality roofing.

You will:

• Lead daily on-site operations, managing crews of 4–6 workers through recruitment, skill assessment, and rostering.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to Australian standards.
• Mentor team members, enforce safety protocols, and maintain high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise installation, of tin/metal roofs (standing seam, corrugated, flashings).
• Manage project timelines, communicate effectively with the General Manager and administration team.
• Conduct safety audits, quality assurance checks, and progress reporting.
• Optimize crew performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of materials, labour, and site activity.

Requirements

• Certificate III in Roofing/Carpentry (RTO-issued) or equivalent trade qualification.
• Minimum 7 years of roofing experience, including 3+ years supervising metal roofing crews.
• Expertise in standing seam, corrugated, and flashing installation.
• White Card, Working at Heights certification, QLD driver's licence.
• Physically fit, safety-conscious, and an effective communicator.
• Valid Australian work rights, including work visa holders.

Desirable:

• Previous experience as a business owner or self-employed roofer, demonstrating entrepreneurial initiative and client management skills.
• Knowledge of Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC) licensing requirements.
• Additional certifications in metal fabrication or supervisory management (e.g., Certificate IV in Frontline Management).
