About the Role

Language for Life Speech Pathology Services is a busy, multidisciplinary private practice based in Melbourne, providing services to both pediatric and adult clients across Australia. We are proud of our reputation for delivering quality outcomes and providing comprehensive support under the NDIS.

We offer a wide range of services including Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Dietetics, Art/Music Therapy, Plan Management Services, Social Work, and Psychology. Our team consists of experienced independent practitioners with a shared commitment to the well-being of families and individuals. Together, we work to identify concerns and deliver effective interventions tailored to each client..

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Child and Adolescent Psychologist to deliver in clinic (Hoppers Crossing) or mobile services to paediatric and/or adult individuals across their local community.

Skills and Experience

· We are seeking an applicant who posses a positive, empathetic and evidence based approach to dealing with a range of social, emotional and behavioural conditions in young people.

· We are seeking an applicant who has an ability to support parents and teachers with care and consideration and apply interventions to support young people.

· We are seeking an applicant who can conduct developmental assessments, inclusive of ASD, ADHD and educational assessments. An applicant who is willing to undertake training and supervision in order to learn how to conduct developmental assessments will also be considered.

· We are seeking an applicant who has well developed report writing, communication and interpersonal skills.

· Successful applicants will have full registration with AHPRA, a Working with Children (WWC) and Police Check, current Professional Indemnity Insurance and the ability to obtain an Australian Business Number (ABN) and Medicare provide number.

Pay: $150.00 – $180.00 per hour
