MPI are seeking multiple experienced Underground Truck Operators to join our client's team in Western Australia on a 3-month contract.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience with a reputable mining operation and earn great rates over the Christmas period.

What is on offer:

  • 3-month contract – must be available to work over the Christmas period
  • 8/6 7/7 lifestyle roster
  • Competitive rates up to $50 hr with super on all hours
  • Immediate starts and fast mobilisation.

About the role:

  • Conduct thorough pre-start inspections on equipment before operation
  • Collaborate with Underground Shift Supervisor and cross shift operator for equipment handovers
  • Interpret and follow mine plans and instructions accurately
  • Safely operate underground equipment, ensuring efficiency and productivity
  • Demonstrate good judgment, innovation, and adherence to safety protocols while operating trucks
  • Provide assistance to other mining operators as and when required.

How to apply and be successful:

  • Must have underground experience with a minimum of 6 months on underground trucks
  • Ability to obtain a national police check
  • A valid manual driver's licence and relevant qualifications
  • Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical
  • You must have the right to live and work in Australia.
