Dermatology Nurse

We are offering a rare opportunity for an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Eastern Suburbs Dermatology. This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday within a supportive and professional environment.

Experience in dermatology nursing is highly desirable; however, nurses with strong clinical experience in a similar field will be considered.

The Practice

For over 30 years, Eastern Suburbs Dermatology has been providing specialist dermatology services and professional support to independent dermatologists in Bondi Junction.

Our clinic offers consultations and treatments across a broad range of dermatology specialties, including paediatric, surgical, women's, and cosmetic dermatology.

The Role

Working as part of our dedicated nursing team, you will assist in the treatment, management, and coordination of care for patients with various skin conditions under the supervision of our consulting dermatologists.

Demonstration of a consistently high standard of clinical competency and patient care during your employment at our practice may provide the opportunity for further training in selective laser treatments.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist dermatologists in the management and treatment of patients

• Manage appointment bookings, billing, and accurate clinical documentation

• Provide both medical and aesthetic dermatology treatments as per patient care plans

• Educate patients on skin care, post-treatment care and condition management

• Ensure infection prevention and control standards are met and maintained

• Monitor and restock medical supplies as required

• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of treatment and consultation rooms

• Manage cold chain storage and infection control procedures

• Accurately complete billings for treatments, services, and product usage
