The role:

In this role, you provide mobile Occupational Therapy services to children and young people from birth right through to the teenage years. You carry out assessments, continue existing plans, and create new goals that support each child's development using a warm, family-centred and strengths-based approach. You design and document therapy plans, deliver sessions across homes, schools, early learning settings and online, and ensure every appointment is engaging, supportive and focused on meaningful outcomes. You also stay on top of your admin, keeping reports, case notes, communications and progress updates timely and clear.

You work closely with families and carers, guiding them through each stage of the therapy journey and collaborating with other professionals involved in the child's care. Your ability to build rapport quickly, regulate with children and bring a fun, energetic approach helps you support a diverse range of needs. You draw on specialist skills in sensory integration, feeding approaches or play-based models as required, always aiming to maximise each child's confidence, wellbeing and participation. You thrive working autonomously while still being supported by a small, positive and transparent leadership team who value flexibility, connection and quality care.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy or relevant discipline
  • Min 2 years' experience
  • AHPRA registration
  • Valid NDIS Check
  • Working With Children Check
  • Police Check
  • Medicare Providers Number
