About the role

As the AIN Leisure and Lifestyle Co-ordinator, you'll coordinate the activities program for residents. Working as part of a dynamic and friendly multidisciplinary team, you'll undertake the planning, organisation, implementation and evaluation of the activities program. The program utilises both individual and group activities, with the aim of maintaining or improving abilities, and promoting independence and wellbeing.

This site is also part of a Research Project dedicated to improving the dining experience for residents. Some of the many desired outcomes for the residents will include: setting the scene for dining, to encourage conversation and enjoyment; a focus on resident participation in meal preparation, and an increase in outdoor dining opportunities.

The Multi-Purpose Service model (MPS) exists in smaller communities and integrates a range of health services under one management structure, including acute care and emergency, respite and palliative care, and allied, primary and community health services.

Kyogle is in the beautiful Northern Rivers region of NSW, known for its unspoilt bushland surroundings, sub-tropical National Parks and the majestic Clarence River. For a different type of scene, you can drive to the Gold Coast or Brisbane in under 3 hours.
