The Australian Chiropractic College is seeking expressions of interest from Lecturers qualified to deliver within its Bachelor of Chiropractic and Diploma of Health Science to commence delivery in early  2026 in Melbourne.

We are seeking expressions of interest from individuals holding a minimum Master-level qualification within Chiropractic or a relevant health sector related discipline which would enable them to teach in one or more of the following areas:

  • Chiropractic Technique
  • Chiropractic Philosophy
  • Critical Thinking in Healthcare
  • Human Body Systems
  • Anatomy
  • Human Movement
  • Basic Assessment in Health Care
  • Life Sciences

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the delivery of ACC lectures and tutorials.
  • Guide students during practical workshops, providing comprehensive and student -centric feedback.
  • Deliver and grade assessments thoughtfully and holistically.
  • Build professional and effective student relationships underpinned by the ACC Chiropractic philosophy.
  • Provide academic support and consultation to students on a regular basis.

Role requirements

  • Hold a minimum Master-level qualification in Chiropractic or a relevant discipline with corresponding industry experience.
  • Availability to deliver face to face curriculum at a Melbourne CBD location (online may be considered for the right applicant).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Higher Education learning principles coupled with successful teaching experience (desirable)
  • Willingness to actively engage in discipline knowledge and scholarship.
  • Ability to engage and guide students towards their Chiropractic career goals.
  • Relevant teaching qualifications in higher education (desirable)
  • Hold or have the ability to obtain a valid Working with Children Check

The ACC is open to discussions with interested applicants who may not meet all the requirements but have extensive chiropractic experience.

The expression of interest process

  • Send your CV and maximum 2-page cover letter addressing the role requirements to Academic Operations Manager – Dr Kellie Lumsden
  • Upon review, applicants meeting ACC requirements will be advised they will be kept on a register for forthcoming teaching vacancies throughout 2026.
