Restoration Technician

What You'll Be Doing:

As a Restoration Technician, you will be at the forefront of providing life-changing services to clients impacted by fire, flood, or malicious damage. This diverse and rewarding role includes:

• Responding to emergency calls and assessing damage
• Carrying out site assessments and delivering detailed reports
• Executing key restoration procedures including water extraction, drying, dehumidification, and mould remediation
• Restoring structural integrity through repairs and renovations
• Safely operating restoration equipment while adhering to WH&S protocols
• Communicating with project managers and clients to keep them informed and reassured throughout the process
• Working throughout Brisbane & surrounds

Who Are We Looking For?

You'll be successful in this role if you have:

• Proven experience as a Restoration Technician or in a similar handyperson role
• In-depth knowledge of home and contents restoration, cleaning, and construction
• Familiarity with water damage, fire, smoke, and mould remediation
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances
• A high level of communication and interpersonal skills
• Good physical fitness for demanding tasks
• A valid driver's license
• Current police check clearance
• Computer literacy to help document and communicate progress
• Qualifications in mould/fire/flood will be well received
