The role:

Pre-Uni New College Gosford is seeking passionate and qualified teachers/tutors to join our team.

Casual positions are available to teach English, Writing, Maths, and Thinking Skills for 3–12 hours per week (regular class times during school terms).

The ideal candidate would:

• Enjoy working with children (Year 1-6).
• Display outstanding character with consistency and punctuality
• Have great communication skills.
• Have availability after 4pm for one or more days Monday to Friday and Saturday (9am to 5pm).
• Have previous teaching experience is essential for Teacher's position
• Minimum 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience with primary school students (Years 1-6)
• Have advanced academic skills especially English, Writing, Maths and Thinking skills
• Have knowledge and strategy to teach students about Opportunity class placement test and Selective High School placement test
• Have ability to mark and feedback to students' writing
• Preparing for lessons.
• Include your availability on your resume
• Have a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) certification
• Have right to work in Australia
