Service Washer

Due to constant growth Jackson Motor Company (JMC) has a great opportunity for car detailers to join our Devonport facility on a full-time basis.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Wash, clean, and detail customer and company vehicles
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards of the service wash bay and surrounding areas.
• Ensure all vehicles are cleaned to company standards and ready for delivery or pickup.
• Assist in moving vehicles within the workshop, yard, or to customer areas.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures and use PPE as required.
• Report any vehicle damage, faults, or safety concerns to the Service Manager.
• Uphold a high standard of professionalism and customer service in all interactions.

Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience in vehicle washing, detailing, or similar manual labour position. Desirable but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and presentation.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Basic understanding of vehicle care and cleaning products.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks, including standing for long periods and lifting equipment.
• Valid Manual driver's license
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Familiarity with the safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to drive a variety of vehicle types (e.g., utes, SUVs)
