Job Description

Our Crew members are the life blood of GYG. You are on the front line, greeting customers, taking orders, rolling burritos, re-stocking the fridges, basic food prep, wiping tables, and learning other roles across the team. You'll get exposure to every aspect of what goes into running a busy, GYG business.

Experience is helpful, but it's not everything. What we mean is:

  • Experience in hospitality venues or fast paced environments is great but not essential
  • You're open to coaching, eager to learn and ready to put in the effort
  • 'Can do' attitude and can be relied upon to follow through

Qualifications

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Line/Sales Crew members are responsible for working across sales, line, fries, server and Quality Assurance positions. They may also complete prep work in the kitchen as required. Their primary responsibilities are ensuring the best guest experience at all times, in terms of guest connection, speed of service, food quality and presentation. They are also responsible for following all food safety and WH&S policies and procedures at all times.

  • Perform the tasks of the food prep & sales position competently and confidently, including the clear understanding - promptly and accurately prepare all menu items according to the food recipes and training guides including portioning and faulty requirements.
  • Be the primary contact for customers, supporting them through the ordering process (via Drive-Thru, Dine IN or Takeaway, ensuring their experience is enhanced by suggesting complimentary products, identifying upselling opportunities while representing GYG and its brand.
  • Engaging with customers during and after their experience to ensure they feel valued and appreciated. Actively taking feedback.
  • Provide high level customer service to customers of GYG. Maintain enthusiastic and energetic approach to enhancing the GYG customer experience.
  • Participates in GYG Crew as a team player and displays behaviour consistent with organisational policies and guidelines, including effective communication with other crew.
