We are seeking a dedicated Labourer for a position located

Responsibilities

Located in Newport, as a Labourer, your primary
responsibilities will include:

  • Support site operations by executing tasks as
    directed by the test lead and supervisors.
  • Assist with ground-level activities in both
    workshop and test train environments as required.
  • Handle and position weight components on test
    trains to meet specified ballast configurations.
  • Operate forklifts to transport materials and
    support efficient site operations.

Your Profile

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Forklift licence within date.
  • Carpentry skills or experience necessary for
    completing specific site tasks.
  • Fit for heavy manual handling / operation duties
    on site.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently
    and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive
    approach to problem-solving.

  • Duration: Casual assignment lasting 1-2
