Pharmacist-in-Charge (Saturday)

About the role

Customcare Pharmacy is seeking a experienced Pharmacist-in-Charge to join our team on a part-time basis, working Saturdays at our Dural, NSW location. As the Pharmacist-in-Charge, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring compliance with all legal and professional requirements, and providing exceptional patient care.

What you'll be doing

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, including dispensing prescriptions, inventory management, and staff supervision

• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and professional standards governing the practice of pharmacy

• Provide clinical pharmacy services, such as vaccinations, medication reviews, patient counselling, and collaborating with other healthcare providers

• Foster a positive and professional work environment that prioritises patient safety and satisfaction

• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices

What we're looking for

• Registered Pharmacist with a current license to practice in Australia

• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Pharmacist-in-Charge or in a leadership role within a community pharmacy setting

• Excellent clinical and technical skills, with a strong understanding of medical ailments and product knowledge

• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a team and foster a positive work environment

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing outstanding patient care

• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices
