About The Role
We are currently looking for a capable and experienced Senior Associate with 5+ years' post qualification experience to join the Real Estate & Construction team in our growing Canberra office.
This is a great opportunity to develop your practice further and join a supportive and enthusiastic two partner team that work across both Real Estate and Construction matters. We are not only looking for someone who is wanting to work collaboratively with both the partner and other team members but who is focused on ensuring best practice delivery of a range of matters for government and private sector clients. We also want that person to oversee the work of junior members of the team and take on responsibility for managing client relationships and their ongoing work needs.

About You
It is a strong preference that you have property experience either in the ACT or NSW.
We are looking for a practitioner who ideally has experience in the following areas:
- Property transactional work including acquisitions and disposals
- Commercial and office leasing
- Property advisory
- Planning and environment regulation and approvals
- Procurement of property and construction related goods and services
- Experience advising on construction, planning law and procurement matters is welcomed but not essential
- Experience working on advising government is highly regarded
You must be enthusiastic and willing to work on a range of matters, have a keen eye for detail, good communication and interpersonal skills and can demonstrate sound matter management.
