About The Position
We're on the hunt for an experienced Dental Assistant to join our vibrant team on a part time basis 3 to 4 days a week.
Step into our modern, 5-chair practice where teamwork, support, and great vibes come standard. You'll be part of a dynamic crew that's all about delivering top-quality, patient-focused care — from regular check-ups to advanced treatments like implants.
In this hands-on role, you'll work closely with our dental team and report to the Practice Manager. Plus, with a variety of procedures and a collaborative environment, there's plenty of opportunity to grow your skills and expand your knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care: Assist with patient management, including greeting patients, preparing them for procedures, and ensuring their comfort.
Clinical Support: Prepare and sterilise dental instruments, assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, and maintain a clean and organized treatment area.
Inventory Management: Monitor dental supplies levels, ensuring the treatment room is well-stocked and organised.
Patient Education: Provide patients with post-operative care instructions and educate them about oral hygiene and preventive care.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with dentists, hygienists, and other staff to ensure a smooth workflow and positive patient experience.
Compliance: Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols, as well as regulatory requirements in the dental practice.

What Do You Need To Succeed
- Prior experience as a Dental Assistant is essential
- A Cert III or IV in Dental Assisting is beneficial
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritise tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Capability to address patient concerns and resolve issues with professionalism and empathy
- Attention to detail
